All of our ceramic ware is designed, constructed, fired and screen-printed at home at Dovetail Studio. We begin with high quality moist porcelain clay and fashion it into the pieces you see here. Each piece is handled numerous times during the process of creating, glazing and adding the screen-printed imagery. In fact most pieces are fired in our kiln no less than three times in order to achieve the final product. All of our ceramic ware is high-fired, vitrified porcelain, food safe and durable for everyday use. Click the image below to see photos.
